The collection contains material documenting the administration and programs of Riverdale Neighbrhood House and its predecessor organizations. The collection includes correspondance, photographs of Riverdale Neighborhood House programs and scenic Riverdale scenes ca. 1940-1980, minutes of the Board of Managers of the Riverdale Library Association 1883-1930 and of the Board of Directors of the Riverdale Neighbrhood and Library Association 1930-1976, an attendence book for the Riverdale Library Association 1883-1930, the 1942 bylaws and their revisions through 1978, scrapbooks 1934-1970, library records 1942-1957, newsletters ca. 1940-1970, correspondence and reports of the visiting nurse 1921-1934 and program proposals, surveys and reports ca. 1940-1970. In addition, there are brochures, account books, clippings, press releases, histories, statistics and blueprints.
